Cable/ACE Awards
The awards were inaugurated in 1979
to honor achievements in cable programming that at the time
were not eligible for the Emmy Awards. Although cable shows
have been eligible for Emmy Awards since 1988, cable officials
have chosen to maintain their separate awards ceremony.
The awards are no longer given. The last
ceremony took place in 1997. |
